“A framed pack with a frameless attitude”
Updated for 2024

New features for 2024:
-Inverted U-shaped carbon fiber frame
-Height adjustable torso length
-Increased carrying capacity, 35 LB comfort capacity
-Modular shoulder straps with durable aluminum hardware
-Incredibly light and tough Ultra 200X fabric
-Larger and more expansive external pockets
Description
Let’s face it, even with that ultralight 10-pound base weight, that frameless pack leaves a little to be desired for those longer food and water carries. The Highline was designed by our founder, Dillon Frazier, to be the perfect pack for the Uinta Highline Trail, right here in our home state of Utah. The goal was to make a fast, low-volume pack with a comfy suspension for that tough 6-day food carry and 20-mile dry stretch, all while keeping the final weight of the pack only marginally heavier than a comparable frameless pack. The 30L, 35L, or 40L internal capacity is perfect for a dialed-in kit plus 5-7 days of food, and the supportive frame helps keep the weight on your hips and off your shoulders. At only 20 ounces (may vary based on selected options), the Highline can carry 35 pounds far more comfortably than a frameless pack and can be pushed up to 40 in a pinch. The innovative suspension, featuring an inverted U-shaped carbon fiber frame and a height-adjustable torso length, makes carrying weight all day incredibly comfortable. The Highline also excels in gear accessibility while on the trail. The side pockets can be reached by most hikers without removing the pack, a bottom stretchy pouch is optional, and detachable shoulder pouches and waist belt pockets are available separately. The Uinta Highline trail is notorious for inclement weather, so the Highline pack has been designed with waterproof fabrics and is seam-taped (Ultra and EPLX models) for additional water resistance (a pack liner is recommended).
The Highline is made to order and features a lead time. See our current lead time here.

Sizing:
S/M Torso: 15-18″
M/L Torso: 18-21″
Tall/Large Toro: 21-22″
We recommend that users with a torso length greater than 18″ select the M/L option and those under 18″ select the S/M option. The frame height of our packs is taller than traditional packs and subsequently, the shoulder straps are designed to rest right on the top of one’s shoulders rather than start a few inches below and wrap around. This means that users with torso lengths at the very bottom of the range may find that straps are too high at first but will sit correctly when weight is added to the pack. In addition to the adjustable shoulder strap height, the hip belt is also height adjustable by breaking loose the securing velcro and moving it up or down slightly. A user with a 15″ torso using a S/M may need to place the hip belt into the highest position and the shoulder straps in the lowest position to get the correct fit.
